In this paper we describe the architecture, implementation and performance of a service for the delivery of dynamic performance information in Grid environments. Based on usage requirements gleaned from real applications being developed as part of the Grid Application Development Software (GrADS) project, we have implemented a highperformance service for use by Grid schedulers. The organization of the system is discussed and performance results are presented.

Key Words: Grid informations service • network performance • grid scheduling
